A native of Jamaica, New York, Mr. Hinds received his B.A. from Drew University in 1964 and his law degree from Denver University Law School in 1967. He was admitted to the Colorado bar in 1968. Mr. Hinds is co-author of Colorado Domestic Relations Forms, the second edition of which was published in 1999. He authored Child Custody Battle --  An Inter-

 professional Dilemma in 1988, and lectures nationally and internationally on child and financial aspects of family law. He is a former president of the Colorado Chapter of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers, and now sits on the academy’s national board of governors. He is past President of the Arapahoe Bar Association and past Governor of the Colorado Bar Association, and has served on the Colorado Supreme Court Rules Committee. He is past President of the Interdisciplinary Committee on Child Custody, and a member of the Colorado Trial Lawyers Association. Mr. Hinds has been listed since 1980 in “Best Lawyers in America.” The majority of Mr. Hinds work is in the area of child custody and related problems.
